X had his very first football game tonight! On his very first play of the game he intercepted the ball. I told him he did a great job, he said "well the enemy team just threw it to me." Yeah, that's MY kid :)
I remember the first football game I went to at UMD. This guy messed up badly on one of the first plays, if not the first one, for our team. But the next play, if I’m remembering correctly, he took off when the ball was kicked by our team and then ran so fast and determined, that he ended up with the ball and ran it back quite a ways before being stopped. That’s about what I can remember of that part. I do remember saying to others in my group: “Hey, that’s the same guy from the last play!”, and I looked the name up on the program. I later met him in one of my classes.
